Please note that residents of Buckhorn Valley elect representatives to the following special district boards:

Mountain Recreation Metro District
Also, residents of Buckhorn Valley participate in the election of all six Town Council representatives (currently filled by Bill Baxter, Kathleen Brendza, Tom Edwards, Scott Green, Chris Huffman and Marisa Sato).
At the County level, residents also elect the county assessor, county clerk and recorder, corner, district attorney, sheriff, surveyor and treasurer -- all to 4-year terms of office.
Finally, at the state level, residents also participate in the election of the State Governor and, at the Federal level, the President and Vice President of the United States.
